The pair of the true genus Goliath, which is the smallest species of Goliath. This genus contains only five species with a variety of forms. This genus includes some of the largest beetles in the world. These beetles are both harmless and dangerous. Harmless because they are non-venomous, have no mandibles, and are peaceful. They are dangerous because large Goliath beetles can weigh many tens of grams, and because they are good fliers, they often collide with cars. Hitting a windscreen is like hitting a rock.
