  • Another species of Phylliidae. It is an insect of the order Phasmida and family Phylliidae. Members of this family mimic the shape and color of the leaves of the trees among which they live, and these mimicries are so perfect that they are almost invisible in nature. When disturbed, they even wobble on their feet, mimicking the movement of leaves in the wind. They have thus achieved perfection in their adaptability.
